In Short: We collect personal information that you provide to us.
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when registering for a Breakin' It Down event, expressing an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and Services, when participating in BID activities, or otherwise contacting us.
The types of information we may collect include your email address, mail address and other contact or identifying information in order to register for our events. The personal information that we collect depends on the context of your interactions with us and the Services, the choices you make and the products and features you use. The personal information we collect can include the following:
Publicly Available Personal Information. We collect first name, maiden name, last name, nickname; email addresses; business email; business entity filings, corporate affiliations, business associates; business phone number; phone numbers; current and former address; social media; and other similar data.
Personal Information Provided by You. We collect data collected from surveys and other similar data.
Sensitive Personal Information. BID does not directly collect sensitive information such as credit card details or Social Security number. All registrations and payments are exclusively done on the Constant Contact platform.
Payment Data. We collect data necessary to process your payment if you make purchases, such as your payment instrument number (such as a credit card number), and the security code associated with your payment instrument. All payment data is stored by Paypal. You may find their privacy statements here.
Information our partners, speakers, presenters provide us. If you use our website, post/interact on our Facebook page, or participate in our conferences, workshops, webinars, online conferences or virtual event as our partner, presenter, or speaker, we can ask you to provide us with some information (such as your name, job title, your photo, your email, affiliation, professional profile, or other information). By posting or participating in a BID activity by providing us the right to post any information on our website you acknowledge and agree that the data you publish or provide us for publishing on our Website or any time later creates your public profile (hereinafter "Public Profile"). You acknowledge and agree that the information that you provide in your Public Profile would be visible to the others. By participating in a BID activity, you consent for BID to share your contact information (name, affiliation, email address, type of participation) with event participants who may wish to contact you for networking and inquiry purposes.

Upon registering you will have the ability to opt out of such communications. You will have the opportunity to “opt-out” by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in the e-mail you receive.

Testimonials displayed (text, audio, written and/or video) are given verbatim except for correction of grammatical or typing errors. Some have been shortened. In other words, not the whole message received by the testimonial writer is displayed, When it seemed lengthy or not the whole testimonial seemed relevant for the general public.
Breakin' It Down conference is not responsible for any of the opinions or comments posted to our website or Facebook page. BID is not a forum for testimonials, however provides testimonials as a means for participants to share their experiences with one another.
