By registering for the Breakin' It Down conference, you are agreeing to comply with our policies and terms and conditions.
The BID Planning Committee will register all participating speakers. If it becomes necessary for a speaker or presenter to cancel a presentation, they should try to find an alternate presenter immediately. Contact the BID's Program Committee Chair immediately with any change to a scheduled presentation.
A “no-show” or cancelled presentation can cause serious inconvenience to the attendees and conference organizers. The BID Planning Committee thanks all speakers and presenters in advance for their compliance with this request.
All presentations may be recorded. By continuing in the BID workshop or event, you consent to being recorded. Access to the conference materials will be available for 30 days after the conference for all registrants, if recorded.
All conference registrants must register online through BID's designated page.
All conference registrants must select a payment method. The methods available to individuals are as follows,:
1. Debit/Credit Card
2. ACH Bank

If the card is rejected, we must have method payment via an alternative method for those with outstanding balances to be allowed to attend the BID Conference.
No refunds will be given for cancellations. If you need to cancel your participation, your request must be submitted by email to hello@breakinitdownchicago.org.. Due to financial obligations incurred by the Breakin' It Down Planning Committee, a credit less 25% of the registration fee will be issued for requests received up to seven (7) days prior to the start of the conference and will expire 12 months from the date of the original, canceled event.
Conference credit may be applied toward any Breakin' It Down event. If a conference credit is applied toward an event, the event must take place prior to the credit’s expiration date.
Conference credit will not be issued if you do not attend the event and have not requested cancellation at least seven (7) days prior to the event start date. The cancellation and credit policy will not be waived.
